Am I the only one who thinks this game looks really ugly? Say about Sword of Mana what you want but at least the enviroments didn't look so plain and dull and the characters/enemies had more expression. This game looks like the worst Nintendo DS game I can imagine.

I'm not sure what to think of Rise of Mana but at least the soundtrack and artworks seems to be alright:

Okay, I think I know what the problem was, if I remember correctly I used a savegame from gamefaqs all those years ago to get more money. The hacks/codes used for this savegame prevented me from getting these items, I started a new game and after finishing all was as it should be.

I'm working on a hard playthrough now. The bouts that should unlock with completed chapters on hard are unlocking, so maybe this helps, but I still think that there's something wrong with my save.

So I was in the mood of some Dawn of Mana today and noticed I didn't unlock the following items in the general store yet (despite having a clear file for the normal difficulty): Rare Pet Egg, Crescent Barrier, Blade Maw, Gemini Hammer.
