Re: Secret of Mana remake for PS4 and Vita leaked on Twitter

I'm pretty excited for this. I just finished SoM with my step daughter. So she's excited to play this as well.

I'm going to be at PAX next weekend, definitely going to be playing this, I'll try to get as much info as I can. Anyone else going to be there?

Re: Seiken Densetsu 2 Retranslation and Expansion (need help

I'm definitely going to keep my eye on this project. Maybe in a few months when I'm done with school I'll see if there is a way for me to contribute.

Re: It's been five years.

Yeah! We're all responsible adults here, so we all are busy with "real" life. I do love this place though, I remember coming here for news about the upcoming Legend of Mana. I'm a part of another more active forum that is going through some drama and I'm sitting back like, "Aren't you...

Re: New Seiken game!!

I don't know much about Rise of Mana, as we don't have it here. But this game looks to be a rehashing of Final Fantasy Adventure.

Which is fine, I'll buy FFA for the third time. :P

Square-Enix's E3 Announcement

Final Fantasy XII Remake teaser I'm pretty excited. I know they could potentially botch this up but I remain optimistic. I remember when FF7 first came out, I was too cool for new 3D games especially one as popular as FF7. then a few years ago I picked it up when they stopped asking 80-100 dollars ...

Merry Christmas Seikens!

I hope you all got a visit from Santa Clause and not a Frost Gigas.

As always I am up before the rest of my family because I can't seem to convince myself that I am to old to get this excited for Christmas.

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all have a blessed day.

Re: Mana Series Zelda Classic tileset

Digging up an old thread I see. I used to be huge into the Zelda Classic community over at Armageddon Games. This tile set is quite amazing, especially considering the graphical limitations of Zelda Classic. It's interesting because I ripped a lot of the very same tiles for my games (which I never f...

That Zippo is super cool. Being a fan of Mana and Zippo's I'll have to keep my eye out for these.

Now that you have completed your life goal whats next? :P

Re: Playing Seiken Densetsu Mobile on an European Mobile?

I threw a sprite and map in Graphics Gale, I don't think they shrunk it down. The sprites are actually double in size, each "pixel" is actually composed of 4 pixels (2x2) and the maps are the correct size all on a 16x16 pixel per tile system. It looks like you have everything you need grap...

Re: The Truth About Mana - Cool article about SoM developmen

Thank you for the translation Killer Bob, it's a great peice of history. I would be interested in the Chrono Trigger one as well if you ever got around to it. From what I understand Chrono trigger was also going to be a lot darker but when they went with Akira Toriyama for the character art, they de...

Re: And after many years, I have returned

I looked and looked for that screenshot I made, but I can't find it (not that it would be hard to recreate).

But I took Salamando's hair rotated it 90* and mirrored it around a Doom's Wall Eye. And for all that work, no one was fooled. :P

Don't worry Sheexy! I won't leave you hanging! It's good to see you back, I remember you were like the life blood of this community. It's crazy to think of where we've all gone, we used to be a bunch of kids on the internet arguing about who would win in a fight, Cloud Strife or Chrono (it's Chrono ...

Re: Secret of Mana intro remake

Welcome to the forums and thanks for sharing. That was a well done compact review and history of the game. I agree the music of SoM is some of the best on the SNES. I wish they would rerelease Secret of Mana as it was intended to be (their plans and direction when it was to be on CD as well as full ...

Re: Game Grumps Animated: Secret of Mana

Alright I took a look, it was pretty funny. "If only there was a giant sword!" "Why would you ask the sword?"

I love that this game is still getting attention and having an impact decades later.

I'll have to check out some of their other animations on classic games.

Re: Duck Tales Remastered

Sorry for the delay, I finally got the game and played it through. I thoroughly enjoyed this remake. Gameplay: The main thing that stands out for this game is: It is so much fun! The controls were smooth and refined, I easily picked them up because they are exactly like the original. The level desig...
