Many of the games I love are Japan only mobile or online games so I just use workarounds to play them. (mainly Dragon Quest stuff and Star Ocean) I'm not huge into Mana scene, but I even recognize some of the familiar Mana series faces in there. ^ u^

Well vBulletin is the most secure software I was familiar with, but it isn't free. MyBB and SMF are free and pretty powerful if you know what you're doing. I didn't mean totally disable, but rather have a system in place where you have to verify each member. For example, ask a Mana Game question and the new user must fill in the blanks with the right answer, then you manually activate them, etc. There are some softwares that allow that type of deal.

Ah dang. Other bbs software I've found have pretty airtight solutions for spam. It may just be a phpBB thing where they don't have some kind of definitive prevention.

The only other way I know of is to set up a "screen all members" thing, but that'd be tedious so...........

Actually now that I think about it, I think I did play one of the seikens! I'm p sure I have FFA on my gameboy (I'll check my collection), just it wasn't very good enough for me to play it through. XD
