I'm a Christmas music junkie as well. I usually start watching during the week of Thanksgiving (also the same week that I start watching Christmas movies), but have to stop shortly after Christmas day. I like that 1/12 of the year is a full-on Christmas bonanza.

Now that Christmas is over, it's back to post-post-hardcore progressive psychedelia. My favorite band of the new millenium? Yeah, The Mars Volta is a contendor.

Both my son and I have been listening to Rush recently. He's into 2112 at the moment but I've been enjoying the early 80's stuff quite a bit. Purists overlook this era of the band but do so to the detriment of the ears.
