Resetting the save on Sword

So Ive been a long time fan of the Mana games, played and beaten them all many times over. Now as Im restarting a few of them I ran into a snag. I just recently moved so I have no clue where my manual for Sword of Mana is and I have no way to reset the save. My google-fu is normaly strong but I can't find it for the life of me. If anyone can check there manual, or has a pdf of one saved, and can tell me how to reset it that would be awsome. I also remember the first time I came here, back before the site got restarted, that there was a site that has all the manuals for SNES-GBA games on it, I tryed to find that too but no dice.

I think the only way to reset the save files is to just start a new game and save over them.
I dunno where my manuals are right now or I'd double check..

EDIT: The manual mentions nothing about erasing save game files.

Ok I thought it had one of those hold this that and the other one to reset. Thanks. Its nice to see the website is still up and running for so long.
Time to restart another game.
